Here’s a ‘I should be studying, so I’m tumbling and posting old dance pics instead’ pic. WAY back when I first restarted dancing at the open classes of the Miami City Ballet. I hadn’t gotten to the point of body acceptance that I have now, but even then I never let being the biggest girl in the room stop me. Dance is absolutely the number one thing that taught me to love my body. I always feel beautiful when I dance.
On a completely unrelated point, this was my ‘Take ALL the dance selfies’ stage. Eventually I got pretty good at it. I have a TON of pics like this.

One of the biggest myths about flexibilty I keep hearing is that one has to be skinny to be flexible…well…that’s NOT true.
I’m 5’8” and over 350lbs. I train for triathlons & compete against myself. I’m a cancer survivor and I love the person that I am. I have always been a big girl and I love surprising people. Let’s squash the stereotype & show the world how beautiful we are! :D -Jess<3
