We’re quickly nearing the end of August, which means the August monthly challenge is almost over. Here are a few reminders:
- Be sure to check the original post (linked above) frequently, as new workouts are being added under many of the categories.
- If you want to share your experiences, tag your posts with BoP: August.
- If you’d like to read about how others are doing, check out the BoP: August tag.
- At the end of the month, I’ll be asking for people who tried the challenge (even if not for the whole month) to write about their experiences. If you’re interested in writing a little piece or doing a short interview on the August challenge for this blog, keep you eyes peeled.
- And yes, a September challenge will be going up near the end of August. :)

It’s an arms and abs day. What workouts will you be doing today?
…at the end of August, I’ll be looking for people to write about their experiences with my August workout plan. If you’re interested in writing a guest post/interview for this blog, I’d suggest keeping track of how you’re feeling. Did a certain day really kick your butt? Are you seeing progress? Did you ever get bored? Also, before-and-after photos (or stories like “I couldn’t do a single burpee and now I can do 10!”) would be awesome. :)
One week into the August challenge. How are you doing?

Because I know I’d be all “ooo shiny” trying to pull up the workouts online for the August challenge, I decided to take out that option and taped them to the wall, organized by category… I’m excited to see how well this works and plan on mixing and matching after August if it does :-)
This is a really good idea if you can’t get to your computer every day. Print everything out!

You asked for a monthly workout plan, you got one! During the month of August, simply see what’s listed for the day on this calendar, pick a workout from the corresponding “types” below, and do it on that day. If you need a complete rest day, take one. Drink more water, and stay hydrated during the workouts.
