Please read my FAQ before sending me a question.

I'm a college student and a dancer, and I'm working to lose weight, gain muscle, become more fit... and help others do the same!

My Ask Box is always open to questions, suggestions, or if you just need to talk. If you'd like something to be answered privately, just let me know in the message. (Note: anonymous questions cannot be answered privately.)
“Hello - so first I just want to say that I really like your blog and it's nice to find other college aged girls. I was just wondering - and I don't mean this to be rude at all - but I saw that someone posted one of your workouts as "pro-ana" and I wanted to make sure you didn't support that view point. Your workouts have been really helpful for me because I'm recovering and they help me to not over exercise. I hope that you don't support that. But anyways I hope you have a nice evening.”

I myself am in recovery from eating-disordered behaviours, and while I, on rare occasions that were much more frequent when this blog started, post images of skinny people, they’re tagged “thinspo” so people can use something like Tumblr Savior to avoid them. I believe in using tags properly to avoid triggering people.

However, what other people claim my workouts are is their own action. Yes, a number of my readers are obviously dealing with eating disorders. I used to get tons of questions about thigh gaps and losing weight unhealthily fast, and that’s why I try to be open about the hell that is an eating disorder.

I am not pro-ana. I do not believe that an eating disorder is a choice or a lifestyle. It’s a difficult mental illness, not a fad diet.
