Climb a lot of stairs. Either find a stair-stepping machine or just go run stairs somewhere, but start now. Your thighs will burn, your butt will be sore, and your feet will hurt, but you have to start now. Also, get yourself a good pair of shoes, ones that have good arch support and cushioning in the heels.
