I'm a college student and a dancer, and I'm working to lose weight, gain muscle, become more fit... and help others do the same!

My Ask Box is always open to questions, suggestions, or if you just need to talk. If you'd like something to be answered privately, just let me know in the message. (Note: anonymous questions cannot be answered privately.)
“I am currently on the lower end of the weight for height spectrum, but I'm not happy with my body. I want to look more trim and muscular. I don't care about the number, but would I start gaining weight with muscle? Would my weight go down from dropping fat and then up from gaining muscle? What would that process be? Let me stress that I really don't care how much I weigh, I just want to look good even if I weigh more than I do now.”

Normally how it goes is like this: start weight-training, gain weight because of increased muscle mass, lose weight because of lower body fat, eventually balance out to a weight (possibly higher than before, possibly lower) with a slimmer appearance and more muscles.
