Please read my FAQ before sending me a question.

I'm a college student and a dancer, and I'm working to lose weight, gain muscle, become more fit... and help others do the same!

My Ask Box is always open to questions, suggestions, or if you just need to talk. If you'd like something to be answered privately, just let me know in the message. (Note: anonymous questions cannot be answered privately.)

I track the "backonpointe" tag!
“I'm quite the opposite of flexible... Sitting on the floor with my legs separated, should I work more on leaning forward or put more focus into separating my legs? Or would both together be beneficial? Ahaha”

Both! They’ll stretch different areas. With your legs apart and your torso leaning forward, you’re stretching the outsides of the hips and the inner thighs. Stretching the legs apart stretches the hamstrings and the inner thighs. You can also stretch towards one leg, then the other, to stretch the hamstrings and the sides of your torso. :)
