“What would you recommend for someone who has just given up smoking so can't run hardly at all, but wants to start exercising daily and lose weight. I am keen to really get stuck into both of those things but I find it difficult to run and also I struggle with motivation HUGELY!! The workouts on your blog have given me some help so far (Thankyou for the buffy ones, you should be knighted!!) but I really want something that gets me out daily! Thanks so much.”
Congrats on quitting! That alone will do wonders for your health.
As for working out, start slow. Long walks, power walking, and lifting lighter weights until your lung capacity starts to grow and your body gets used to the movement. As that happens, you can move on to jogging, heavier weights, etc.
Good luck!
