That felt great!

I stretched my body, wrapped my foot for some added support, and I head out for my run. I set my goal to run a 5k…

I kept a good pace, my breathing was nice and steady, my posture was good, and I really tried to concentrate on my alignment when I took each stride and made contact with the ground.  I felt great, my foot felt a bit sore when I began my run but it wasn’t anything dangerous.

I love working up a sweat, that really sent my day off in the right direction.

 

And now I get to enjoy my awesome smoothie, stretch, re-hydrate, then go for a bike ride :D

Smoothie!

  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 whole banana
  • 1/4 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of blueberries

  2. unimpressivesue said: You probably have plantar fasciitis! Look up stretches for this, and ice before you go to bed! A lot of runners get this.
