youvsyou asked: I saw you were an atheist as well and I just wanted to let you know I didn't realize there were ANY fitness blogs that were also atheist. I have found a couple this past month, but I felt like I had found the lot of them. I just wanted to say hi and I'm an atheist as well, although I know that's not your main focus here. Neither is mine :P I have a personal blog for all that! My...

Reasons why the number on the scale is worthless:
do-the-russian-twist:
A single number does not reflect your body composition or body type. It won’t tell you if that weight is comprised mainly of muscle, or if you carry a lot of fat, or if you’re retaining water, or any of those things.
Even if you think you have a ‘small’ frame, you might have heavier bones than some. I can fit my fingers round my wrist, but I’ve always been heavier than I...

Anonymous asked: Hi, I was wondering whether you could make a challenge / full set cardio workout that could be done quietly inside your room (for example things like russian twists, sit-ups, pushups and so on). I want to be able to work out when everyone else is sleeping without them questioning what I'm doing :)
Anonymous asked: whoa. whoa. WHOA. Take a cold glass of water, or hot tea, and Youtube "The Smiths, Please Please Please" and you sit and you cry and you feel bad and blah and then you wrap yourself in a blanket and dive into your favorite show for a little bit then go deal with your problems

Guh. I’ve been overeating like mad today. I know it’s just because of the ridiculous amounts of stress I’m under right now, but I hate it. I feel awful, but I can’t stop myself from going through every cupboard.

Anonymous asked: Hey, I was wondering if you could promote my fitness blog "becoming-something". I want to really help people get more confident, loose weight and tone up through not only the things I re-blog but from my own personal life with stories about myself and friends. It would be a great help if you did, I only have one follower :/ Thank you!!!

"Thigh Gaps"
skinnyforthehorses:
I am sick of girls who set a “thigh gap” as a weight loss goal. You cannot achieve this (without looking sickly thin) unless you have the right body structure! A “thigh gap” does not measure how fit or skinny you are. Some of the most althetic skinny girls in my school do not have the imfamous thigh gap, simply because of bone structure. You must have wide set hips to get a...

Anonymous asked: I am always constantly craving carbs. Like pastas, pizzas, bready things, etc. I just LOVE it. How could I find a healthy substitute for my constant carb cravings? /: I use whole wheat in everything in I cook/bake with, and it's the only type of bread/pasta I buy.

#FitnessFriday
For my first #FitnessFriday post, I’m going to be talking about some of my favourite exercises!
Russian Twists: done slowly and with a full twist in the ribcage, these help work your oblique abdominals and help your core balance
Glute Kickbacks: an easy way to work the butt, you can also hold a light weight behind the knee for an extra workout
Jumping Jacks: super simple and a great...
